Native American "Ledger
Horses" are the motifs of this
bed, deeply carved in different depths, then stained in contrasting colors.
There are "Mimbre" designs carved on the center pieces of all four
posts and the carved design on the rails is a smaller version of the "Sun"
carving on the headboard.
The frame is made of solid, one inch thick Ash then joined using mortise
and tenon joints to the
posts. The Posts are made of aged, hand cut and planed Ash 4x4's.
The stain is Natural Honey
Maple, finished and
highlighted in Antique White, then oiled and waxed.
Available in
King and Queen sizes or just the Headboard
