This Display
Shelf is made of solid Oak .
The "Stepped" top piece, from
the "Mesa"
design, has
two carved opposing "modernized" Bear designs outlined in a
Copper paint and stained in
a Dark Walnut to contrast with the Natural Pine stain
on the Shelf. The finish, after staining,
is a mixture of Danish Oil, Tung Oil and paste
wax to bring out the natural grain patterns
and highlights of the Oak .
