The
motifs of this bed are the "Three Kokopelli"
design on the Headboard and ""Rock Art" designs carved in different depths, then stained in contrasting
colors. This bed frame is made of Knotty
Pine; the posts are aged and recycled Douglas Fir. The stain is the latest new
stain from Minwax,
called "Gunstock". The stain was followed by four coats of Danish Oil, two
coats of Tung Oil and
hand waxed to bring out the detail and highlights of the wood.
