Native American "Ledger
Horses" are the motifs of this
bed, deeply carved in different depths, then stained in contrasting colors.
There are "Mimbre" designs carved on the center pieces of all four
posts and the carvings on the rails are Navajo Geometric Designs. The
frame is made of Aged
Knotty Pine then joined using mortise
and tenon joints to the posts. The Posts are made of aged, recycled, hand cut and planed
Douglas Fir 4x4's.
The staining process, unique to the "Santa Fe"
Series is started
with a base of Antique
Pine and Dark Walnut is added to highlight the Wood Grain and Pattern, to bring out the natural beauty of the wood
giving the piece its unique Southwestern coloring.
Available in
